Hacking is building things that you always wanted to have but no one has built it yet. It's to come up with an amazing idea and work tirelessly on it. It is to fail, fail again and fail better. Try out new things and learn while doing that. It's to work together, collaborate and build things that are innovative. It is to be a better programmer.

With that spirit, IOSD is conducting a hackathon - hackMAIT3.0 and invites all developers and hackathon enthusiasts to participate in an interesting and engaging hackathon.

Smart Cities

Providing a well-structured plan for building solutions that will make a city more efficient and intelligent place to live. The problem is to build innovative solutions for a Smarter City and ensure economic growth and improved quality of life by enabling local area development and harnessing technology, especially technology that leads to Smart outcomes.

Smart Education

With the evolution of technology, it has become possible for an individual to learn anything and everything at any point of time & age is no bar. The problem is to design and develop an application/platform which can be used as a means of providing smart education available online and affordable to every class of society and helping them shape their future in a far better way. Smart education is a digital learning portfolio that gives students, teachers and parents a total view of a student's progress and needs. It is a Network-based collaboration to share views, ideas and create new knowledge – a You Tube for educators!

Travel and tourism

As we know that travel and Tourism not only contribute towards more economic activities but also generate more employment, revenues and play a significant role in development. The problem is to provide an outline for new destinations, transportation planning, marketing strategies and the best “combination” to get to those places, over or under booking and price fluctuations are key issues for the travel and tourism industry.

Safety and Security

With the rise in the rate of criminal activities like mugging, burglary, robbery, terrorist activities , it becomes extremely important to eradicate the roots of crime and terror from the entire world. The problem is to design and develop an application/platform/mechanism which can be used as a measure to detect/eliminate terror activities through which timely response can be made to avoid losses.

Waste Management

Lack of awareness is the major cause of rapidly increasing rate of pollution in our country and it’s high time that we should take some quality measures to control pollution for a healthy living. The problem is to build a mechanism through which waste management can be promoted in order to minimize the pollution.
